In the shopping center in Oostpoort, you'll find Sportfondsenbad Oost hidden between the many shops surrounding it. For more than 80 years, people have been swimming under the authentic roof of this historic building. After the swim in the 25 meter pool you can also use the heated whirlpool, the bubbles give the muscles a soft massage after the effort of swimming!
It is mandatory to have at least an A-swimming diploma. This is for safety reasons. Showering prior to rink swimming is mandatory. Showers are available and you can use the lockers (working with a numerical code). The whirlpool is open during the opening hours of the track swimming.
If you reserve a time block for swimming laps, make sure you're on time to check in. You can check in 30 minutes prior to 5 minutes after the time slot starts.
