What is it like to train for a triathlon? With this multi-sport, you jump into the open water one time and before you know it you are already on a bicycle... Try it and train among the triathletes. Don't be afraid, you don't have to be a top athlete to do a triathlon. Here you will learn all the tricks and exercise in Open Water Swimming or a Brick (couple) training.
NOTE: For open water swimming you need a wetsuit and swimming goggles. You must own your A diploma and be able to swim well enough. A helmet is mandatory when cycling. Bring a bicycle, helmet and running shoes with you. Training locations:
Tuesday open water swimming: Mattbiesenstraat 1 in IJburg.
Thursday running at Cafe Vrijburcht Jan Olphert Vaillantlaan 159.
Friday strength training for endurance athletes: Park Frankendael entrance Willem Beuklstraat.
Friday open water swimming: Flevopark Nieuwe Diep, gathering in front of the Flevoparkbad Insulindeweg 1002.
Saturday Brick (couple) training cycling and running at Diemerpark mini beach.
