This season we’ve got some (literally) cool places for you to go skating on the ice again. You can up your kilometers on long rinks, practice your techniques or just have fun with your friends. Can’t ice skate at all? No worries. It’s never too late to learn ⛸.

Where is the ice this year?

Let’s be honest, we can’t wait for the rivers to freeze over anymore. That’s why we’re helping you a bit. The Jaap Eden IJsbaan in Amsterdam, for example, is a good alternative. Go for a workout on the 400m rink, with or without experience. Everyone is welcome! Afterward, you can warm up with a cup of choco.

That’s not all! You’re also able to go to one of Amsterdam’s most famous ice skating rinks on the Museumplein! Check-in for an open (silent disco) class or ice hockey workout at the ICE ICE CLUB. Also just opened for OneFitters: Westergas IJsbaan.

IJsbaan Haarlem just joined OneFit! You can do your pirouettes until you’re dizzy and skate freely on the 30x60m rink. For the enthusiasts and the ones that want an intense workout, there is a 400m long rink to lose some energy. Both covered, so the weather is no excuse anymore  👀.

There’s more!

In Den Haag, they know what to do with the winter season. At De Uithof for example, where they have everything your winter heart needs. Go ice skating here and enjoy a good, cold workout. If you feel more like a romantic night out, with a sea view: we’ve got you. Kurhausplein on Ice is open for business and oh so cozy!

Got a membership in Utrecht? Good. Because here, you can go explore the ice at De Vechtsebanen. Everyone is welcome to either get the skating under control or work on their shape and technique with experience.

Coming soon…

Last but not least, you will soon be able to go ice skating in Rotterdam as well. On the 30th of November, Schaatsbaan Rotterdam will open its doors for OneFitters. And it’s cool, because they have a long rink ánd a fun slope. Yay!

And soon you’re also able to check-in at IJsvrij Festival in Rotterdam.

Sweat and Joy
